Emiliano Martinez has been given the green light by Arsenal to leave after agreeing the terms of a triple-your-money deal with Aston Villa, Football Insider understands.
The Midlands giants are in advanced talks to sign the Argentine, 28, for fee worth up to £20million including add-ons..
A Villa source has told Football Insider that Martinez has agreed personal terms with Villa that will hike his salary to £75,000-a-week.
Negotiations over the transfer are set to continue today after Arsenal pulled Martinez out of their squad for their lunchtime opener against Fulham to pave the way for him to move.
This site revealed earlier this week that Villa had tabled a second bid for Martinez of £15million.
Now, a third offer is set to be accepted by Arsenal and pave the way for the goalkeeper to head to the Midlands.

Manager Dean Smith has made a proven keeper a top priority as Tom Heaton continues his recovery from a knee injury that has sidelined him since the turn of the year.
Martinez has decided to quit after failing to get the assurances he wanted he would be the regular number one this season.
He stepped in when Bernd Leno broke down in June and started the last eight Premier League matches of 2019-20 as well as played a key role in Arsenal’s FA Cup triumph.
But fit-again Leno is set to start in goal at Craven Cottage for today’s 12.30pm kick-off.
Martinez made 23 appearances for the Gunners last season and impressed Villa not only with his shot-stopping and command of his box but also his distribution from the back.
In other news, Fulham are fighting Aston Villa to sign proven Premier League outfield player after big offer submitted.
