ARSENAL fans have been left fuming after Tyrone Mings appeared to distract Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang with a joke in the build-up to Aston Villa’s goal.
The relegation-threatened side moved out of the bottom three with a crucial 1-0 victory over the Gunners thanks to Trezeguet’s first-half strike.
Mings’ role in the goal was vital as he won the flick-on from the corner before the Egyptian emphatically volleyed home the strike.

But eagle-eyed viewers couldn’t help but notice how Mings managed to steal a march on his marker Aubameyang.
Just before the delivery, Mings makes a comment to the Gabon international who immediately starts laughing.
The Villa centre-back then uses that brief second to his advantage and provide a massive boost in the club’s survival bid.
After seeing the replays of the incident on Sky Sports, Arsenal fans appeared less than impressed with their star striker.
One said: “Whoever thinks Aubameyang is a decent Captain is dillusional, he was shown up last night.”

Another added: “I can’t be the only one who’s fuming at Aubameyang tonight.
“What he did on the corner vs Mings is unacceptable at amateur level, forget about a player earning £200k a week.”
A third said: “Aubameyang laughing with Mings. What a embarrassment as club CAPTAIN. Arsenal football club is in huge decline.”
But apart from Arsenal and Watford supporters, football fans in general found the funny side.
One added: “Aubameyang got mugged off on that corner. Mings made a mockery of him.”
Former Villa defender Micah Richards was in the Sky Sports studio for the contest and said: “I think they’re playing catch to be honest.
“They’re having a bit of a laugh and a joke and then look, he’s gone.
“Gets his little flick on and it’s a great finish.”
After impersonating Mings’ movement, Sky Sports host David Jones joked that he has seen Richards perform that move in the nightclub.
The victory lifted Villa out of the bottom three on goal difference with just one game to play.
Bournemouth, Watford and Villa will head to the final day of the campaign all knowing they can ensure Premier League survival with a win.
