Jack Grealish has been backed to stay at Aston Villa for just one more season before he moves by his ex-teammate Alan Hutton.
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider assistant editor Russell Edge, the former Scotland international believes it is inevitable that Grealish will leave Villa Park to play European football.
Manchester United have stepped up their interest in the 24-year-old after their hopes of signing Jadon Sancho dwindle, according to Sky Sports.
Villa chiefs have slapped an £80m price tag on their captain who received his first call up to the England senior squad this week, as reported by Birmingham Live.
Hutton told Football Insider: “As somebody who now supports the club I want to see him stay. I want to see him help take the club back to where they should be.
“I think signings are going to be key. From his point of view, he’ll probably be asking the hierarchy who are they bringing in because they need to improve on last year, we all know that.

“The objective was about staying in the league but moving forward, where do they actually want to be? I think that’s the question he’ll have to ask.
“We know how talented a boy he is and he’s going to want to test himself in Europe and at the highest level possible so that’s the other side to it, he’ll want to play with the best players he possibly can so I can totally see both sides.
“It will difficult to keep hold of him – if they can get one more year out of him, absolutely fantastic, but obviously in the future I can imagine him playing elsewhere.”
In other news, Aston Villa have been tipped to sign a goalkeeper after a £12m fee is agreed for a 23-yera-old.
