Leeds, Newcastle and Aston Villa are battling to sign Liverpool winger Harry Wilson, according to reports.
Despite suffering relegation with Bournemouth last month, the 23-year-old impressed with seven goals in a breakthrough season in the Premier League.
Wilson has three years left on his Liverpool deal, but is unlikely to play ahead of Sadio Mane, Roberto Firmino and Mohamed Salah.
The Sun say newly-promoted Leeds are set to launch a £15million bid for Wilson, who has made just one senior appearance for Liverpool, which came in a 1-0 FA Cup win over Plymouth in January 2017.
The report adds Leeds will face competition from Aston Villa and Newcastle.
Wilson has had loan spells with Crewe in League One and Hull and Derby in the Championship.
He made the step up to England’s top tier with Bournemouth last summer as he went on to make 31 league appearances.
Leeds will be looking to bolster their squad after ending their 16-year exile from the Premier League last term.
Helder Costa, whose loan move was made permanent for £15m, is the Whites’ first-choice right winger, however, Wilson could add competition to that position.
Meanwhile, Villa, who preserved their top-flight status on the final day of the 2019/20 season, will be aiming to improve their attacking options.
Jack Grealish was their top scorer with ten goals, while Conor Hourihane came second with seven.
Similarly, Newcastle struggled for goals with top scorer Miguel Almiron managing eight.
Wilson has shown he has an eye for goal by netting 25 times in his last two seasons.
