Signing Josh King from Bournemouth would be “another masterstroke” from Aston Villa, according to Alan Hutton.
The former Villa and Scotland star, speaking exclusively to Football Insider assistant editor Russell Edge, believes the addition of the Norway international would be the perfect end to “one of the best transfer windows ever” for his old club.
As revealed by Football Insider, Villa are set to launch a concrete bid for the 29-year-old ahead of Friday’s domestic transfer deadline.
King has scored a total of 48 Premier League goals to date, while he also has 50 caps for Norway under his belt.
Hutton insists that the Bournemouth ace would be a welcome addition to bolster Dean Smith’s centre-forward options.
Hutton told Football Insider: “I think Villa have had probably had one of the best transfer windows ever, in my opinion, they’ve done brilliant.
