The performances of Aston Villa winger Anwar El Ghazi has given Dean Smith a selection headache, according to Gabriel Agbonlahor.
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider correspondent Connor Whitley, the legendary former Villa striker revealed he knows the 25-year-old is unhappy with his fringe role.
The Dutchman scored a brace in Villa’s 3-0 win over Midlands rivals West Brom on Sunday bringing his goal tally to three in his last three games.
El Ghazi had found his opportunities limited this season due to the form of Ross Barkley and Trezeguet.
However, with the pair out injured in recent weeks, Bertrand Traore and El Ghazi have stepped up and both the found net against the Baggies.
He was making just his second start of the Premier League season at the Hawthorns and Agbonlahor has claimed his performances have given Dean Smith a big decision to make ahead of the trip to Crystal Palace on Boxing day.
